Next week is a special week of giving.  We ask that families give what they can.  Even a little can make the world of a difference for families in need.  We know that winter has come early this year, so choosing to help others gets us into the spirit of the season early too.

Each day of the week will be a special target of donations.  All donations will go to local charities to help our neighbours in need.

Join us, in the way that you can!

Munchkin Monday — this is a day all about little people.  We are accepting donations such for babies such as diapers, bibs, bath toys, rash cream.  You name it, and we can use it!

Toiletry Tuesday is for all those things that we take for granted.  It is having a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, soap, shampoo, conditioner, bandages, ice packs, feminine hygiene products, pony tail elastics, hair clips etc.   These are the things that many of our neediest families would really appreciate.

Woolly Wednesday is for things that keep you warm.  Think hats, mittens, scarves and a warm blanket.

Toy Thursday … it does not have to big.  There are many very small items that are really wonderful for families.  Board games are a favourite of mine as it brings families to together.

Finally, Fabulous Food Friday.  This is the day to bring those things that you meant to bring … but forgot and any non-perishable food items.  What we do as a community makes our community stronger.  Teaching our kids to look beyond their needs is an important part of our children’s learning.
