It is with a very heavy heart that the Prueter Public School community mourns the loss of Quin Henderson as the result of a short illness on Saturday, March 25th. 

Quin was a kind, positive and hard working young person who was loved deeply by her family and friends. Quin enjoyed laughing and sharing silly stories with her classmates. 

Along with our teachers and staff, members of the Board’s Critical Events Response Team have been consulted to support our students and staff.

In honour of Quin the flags at the school and the Waterloo Region District School Board Education Centre will be flown at half mast this week.

The family has shared the following arrangements:

Quin’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
