Prueter Public School proudly opened its doors in 1952. Our school is named after H. J. Prueter, the first inspector of Kitchener Public Schools. It is located in the Breithaupt area of Kitchener.
Our Students
Prueter currently has 230 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. We are fortunate to have three specialty classes for children with Autism and Learning Disabilities. Students attend Margaret Ave. Sr. P.S. for Grades 7 & 8, and Bluevale Collegiate for Grades 9 -12.
Our Staff
We have a dedicated staff of teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, secretarial and administrative personnel. The staff work closely together to create a learning environment that values and respects students for who they are.
School Council
Prueter has an active School Council which fundraises to support school activities. We meet virtually at regular intervals throughout the school year.
School Climate
Prueter Panthers strive to be respectful, responsible, caring, and safe.
